Sandra Falga isn’t just a regular model, during the last 5 years she build her image by finding her modeling strengths and promoting her work on social media. Thanks to this she has gone from being a normal girl living in a small village to an Esquire Magazine girl voted to be one of Spain’s sexiest women next to Paz Vega, Vanesa Romero, Penélope Cruz, Leonor Watling and Elsa Pataky. Modelmanagement.com You’re a model, actress and presenter. We know that constant working and motivation must be a key to your success. Can you give our readers some tips on how to achieve their modeling dreams and don’t give up?
Sandra Falga: It is the percervance of always being there doing what you like most. Be clear what’s your goal from the beginning to always achieve go higher.
MM: You were the FTV presenter of our first Fresh Faces event! How was the experience? Did you get a lot of input from it?
SF: It was a good experience working as a TV reporter for FTV, many professional people of the fashion world on the event. It was a new experience that opened new doors.
MM: You have a big following on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram and have your own website. A lot of aspiring and professional models are trying to increase exposure through their social networks. How did you reach that following?
SF: It is very important to know what people like, with the click likes laying on each photograph. Likes have increased in recent years.
MM: There is a very interesting fact that called our attention. Your mother has a collection of classic cars which she rents for photo shoots and film productions. Have you been in a shoot with one of those cars?
SF: Yes, some of my first photo-shoots were with the company cars of my mother. It’s nice when you know that your mother is around when you’re on the set.
MM: You’ve recently been booked through Modelmanagement.com. How was the experience? Did you enjoy the photo shoot?
SF: I liked working for Modelmanagement.com, I enjoyed the photo session, is nice to work well when there is a good team behind.
MM: How did you overcome the barriers of living in a small village? Did you need to do a lot of self-promotion through social media? Did Modelmanagement.com help you to gain some online contacts?
SF: If it sounds weird, but I like being in the village is like my “big corner “, the constant of good promotion is vital every day. Modelmanagement.com has a lot of professionals of the photography world and it always help to be on such a site to find you more easily when working.
MM: We are very glad that the modeling industry says good bye to the stereo type super model. Your case proofs again that you don´t need to be super tall and skinny for a successful modeling career. What kind of jobs have you been booked for mostly in the past years?
SF: Recent years I have done more work about beauty, lingerie and swimwear.
MM: One of the things that make you stand over the rest is your small waist, thanks to which you have been booked for classic Pin-Up shootings. Can you tell us a bit more about it?
SF: The waist is something remarkable on me, it only measures 55cm. It’s yourself who makes a difference and photographers have it in mind when make photos of me. Photo shoot Pin-up style are my favorites full time playing with curves and body with some different sexy positions.
MM: You have been voted to be one of Spain’s sexiest women by Esquire Magazine. Are you happy about this title? Did this news have a good impact on your career?
SF: Yes, I’m happy for that. It’s a pleasure to be in the middle of such role models for me
like Penelope Cruz. To be an ESQUIRE girl was a big impact on my professional career like a model.
MM: We are very impressed by all you’ve accomplished. Having a look at your work we can see you are a very constant and reliable person with whom to work with. Can you give some advice to models that are starting their career in the modeling industry?
SF: Believe in yourself.
MM: Any future plans you can share with us?
SF: Keep doing the things I like and share my passion with the people who think my work is valued.
